1990
Living alone in an indigo farm, away from her family, she began her career in indigo.
1993 Studied under indigo dyeing artist Michio Suzuki and learned natural lye fermentation of indigo.She has created her own unique world using the Itajime Art Work technique.
1994 Established her own studio in the mountains of Tsuru City, Yamanashi closed to wood and spring water.
1995~ Exhibited works at galleries and department stores in the Tokyo metropolitan area.
2010 Featured in the book "The World of Beauty Expressed by 91 People" by ART Box International Inc.
2011~ Silk Study in California, U.S.A. visits the studio every other year. Other exhibitions and tours are also held in response to requests from overseas fans.
