History
Graduated from Meiji University, the faculty of law.

 Apprenticed in Kouzanin-Kiln, Kasama City Ibaragi Pref. 
Influenced by Kenzan Ogata, famed paintin&ceramic artist in Japanese Edo-priod , and Jishu-kiln of Chinese Sou-period.
Established Gakuryu-kilin in 1983 Yamanashi Pref.

 Has held Exhibition in many department stores and galleries throughout Japan .
             
 

Characteristic underglaze painting - free and symbolic.
That is to say, Kenzan style painting.
His works are reliable to use and of high quality by the result of his long studies.
His representative work [ celadon blue Plum Flower] is loved among many people in Yamanashi  Prefecture where he had made this work.

Indigo-dyeing Artist : NOBUKO YONEYAMA
1972-1974 Stayed in U.K.
1979 Won a Fine Work Prize of oil painting group by BIJYUTU BUNKA Art Association.
 Won HoIbein Prize.
1980 Won Federation Prize by Gunma Artists Fedration Exhibition.
1985 Entered into Dyeing - world as spellbound by Indigo.
1999 Submited her work to the National Awa-Indigo-dyeing and weaving Artists Association Exhibition.
Became a member of National Awa-Indigo-dyeing and weaving Artists Association.
Thereafter, every year put her works on the Association Exhibition throghout Japan
 (Tokushima,Tokyo,Shizuoka and so on).
 Has held her own Exhibiton or group Exhibition inside and outside Yamanashi  Prefecture.
2006.2008 Held Two Artists Show in Ikebukuro- Mitsukoshi  Department store.
She is making a specialty of Shibori (tie-dyeing) which is most congenial to Indigo-dyeing..
In addition to the Traditonal technique, she uses her new design in order to express quiet but dynamic beauty. She orders ' Tade-Ai-Sukumo ',i.e. special raw materials from Tokushima Pref. to make her works.
